Ethics & Liability Position
This document establishes JEH³'s position on ethical operation, liability boundaries, and operator responsibilities. It is designed for review by legal counsel, compliance teams, and enterprise risk assessors.
1. Foundational Position
JEH³ provides computational infrastructure. It does not provide advice, guidance, or professional services. This distinction determines liability boundaries and operator responsibilities.
The platform operates under the following principle: Operators are responsible for all decisions, compliance determinations, and deployment actions taken using system-generated output.
This is not a legal disclaimer designed to evade responsibility. It is an accurate description of system capabilities and limitations. Language models generate text. They do not provide judgment, compliance review, or strategic analysis.
2. Not Professional Services
JEH³ does not provide legal, financial, tax, medical, or other regulated professional services. This limitation is absolute.
Legal Operations
The Legal Ops rail generates legal documents (briefs, motions, contracts) based on operator instructions. This is document generation, not legal advice. All generated documents require review by licensed legal counsel before use.
JEH³ does not establish attorney-client relationships, provide legal opinions, or certify compliance with jurisdictional requirements.
Financial Operations
Financial models, cashflow projections, and analysis documents are computational outputs, not financial advice. Operators must verify all calculations, validate assumptions, and confirm regulatory compliance independently.
JEH³ is not a registered investment advisor, broker-dealer, or financial planning service. No fiduciary duty exists.
Tax Operations
Tax preparation documents and planning analysis are templates based on operator-provided data. They are not tax advice. All tax positions require review by licensed tax professionals before filing.
JEH³ does not represent operators before tax authorities, certify return accuracy, or guarantee compliance with tax codes.
Code Generation
Generated code is computational output, not engineering services. All code requires review, testing, and security validation before production deployment. JEH³ does not certify code quality, security posture, or production readiness.
3. Operator Responsibilities
Operators assume full responsibility for:
- •Verification of Output Accuracy
All system-generated content must be verified for factual accuracy, legal compliance, and contextual appropriateness before use.
- •Compliance Determination
Operators must determine applicable regulatory requirements, industry standards, and jurisdictional constraints. The system does not provide compliance guidance.
- •Professional Review
Legal documents require attorney review. Financial models require CPA or CFO review. Code requires engineering review. No system output bypasses professional validation.
- •Deployment Decisions
Operators decide when, where, and how to use generated artifacts. The system creates pull requests, not deployments. Final execution authority rests with the operator.
- •Data Security
Operators control what data is submitted to language models. Sensitive information, regulated data, and confidential material must be handled according to applicable security requirements.
- •Licensing and Intellectual Property
Generated code may incorporate patterns from training data. Operators must ensure license compliance and intellectual property clearance before commercial use.
4. Known Limitations
JEH³ explicitly acknowledges the following limitations:
Language Model Hallucination
Language models generate plausible text that may be factually incorrect. Citations may be fabricated. Case law references may be invalid. Financial calculations may contain errors. All output requires independent verification.
Training Data Cutoffs
Language models have knowledge cutoff dates. Recent legal changes, updated regulations, and current market conditions may not be reflected in generated output. Operators must supplement with current information.
Jurisdictional Limitations
The system cannot account for all jurisdictional variations in law, regulation, or professional standards. Generated documents may require substantial modification for specific jurisdictions.
Context Boundaries
Language models operate within token limits. Complex matters requiring extensive context may exceed system capabilities. Operators must assess whether sufficient context can be provided.
Bias and Representation
Language models trained on internet text may reflect societal biases. Generated content should be reviewed for fairness, representation, and appropriate tone before use.
5. Data Handling Position
JEH³ processes operator data to execute instructions. The following principles govern data handling:
- •No Training on Operator Data
Operator inputs and generated outputs are never used to train language models or improve system performance. Data is processed for immediate execution only.
- •Third-Party Model Providers
JEH³ routes instructions to external language model APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google). Operator data is subject to those providers' data policies. Review provider terms before submitting sensitive information.
- •Audit Logging
All operations are logged for security, debugging, and dispute resolution. Logs contain metadata about operations, not full content. Retention periods are documented in privacy policy.
- •Export and Deletion
Operators can export all data and request account deletion. Deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed. Some audit logs may be retained for legal compliance.
6. Prohibited Uses
The following uses are explicitly prohibited:
- ✕Generation of content for unlawful purposes
- ✕Creation of misleading or deceptive financial documents
- ✕Production of false evidence or fabricated legal filings
- ✕Generation of malware, exploits, or security bypass tools
- ✕Creation of discriminatory content or biased decision systems
- ✕Mass generation of spam, misinformation, or manipulative content
- ✕Circumvention of professional licensing requirements
- ✕Automated high-frequency trading or market manipulation
Violation of prohibited use terms results in immediate account termination and potential legal action.
7. Liability Boundaries
JEH³ liability is limited to infrastructure provision. The platform does not assume liability for:
- •Accuracy of generated content
- •Operator decisions based on system output
- •Compliance with regulatory requirements
- •Professional malpractice claims related to generated documents
- •Code defects, security vulnerabilities, or production failures
- •Financial losses resulting from operator actions
- •Third-party claims arising from operator use of system output
This limitation reflects system capabilities. Infrastructure providers cannot be liable for how operators use computational resources. Professional judgment remains the operator's responsibility.
8. Incident Response
If operators discover issues with system-generated output that has been deployed in production, legal filings, or financial decisions:
- Immediately cease use of affected output
Do not deploy additional content from the same generation session until review is complete.
- Engage appropriate professional review
Consult legal counsel, financial advisors, or technical experts as appropriate for the domain.
- Document the incident
Record what was generated, how it was used, and what issues were discovered. This documentation may be required for dispute resolution.
- Report to JEH³ if system malfunction suspected
If the issue appears to be infrastructure failure rather than operator error, report through support channels. Include relevant session IDs and timestamps.
JEH³ will investigate reported infrastructure issues but cannot provide guidance on remediating downstream impacts. That remains the operator's responsibility.
9. For Legal and Compliance Review
Enterprise legal and compliance teams evaluating JEH³ should note:
- •This is infrastructure, not a managed service. Your organization retains full responsibility for output verification and compliance.
- •No professional services relationship is created. JEH³ does not act as counsel, advisor, or consultant.
- •Data submitted to language model APIs is subject to third-party provider terms. Review OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google policies.
- •All code generation requires security review before deployment. No production readiness certification is provided.
- •Audit logs are available for compliance review. Retention policies are documented in privacy policy.

Summary Position
JEH³ provides computational infrastructure. Operators bring competence, judgment, and professional responsibility. This division of responsibility is not negotiable.
The system generates content based on instructions. It does not verify accuracy, ensure compliance, or guarantee fitness for purpose. These responsibilities remain with the operator.
This position is designed to be clear, not protective. Infrastructure cannot make strategic decisions. Operators can. That boundary determines where responsibility rests.
